Micahel Wyffels

Michael James Wyffels, 63, of Pine River died at Essentia Health/ St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd on Saturday, October 22, 2011. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 12:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes with Father George Zeck officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Motley Public Cemetery in Motley, Minnesota.

Mike was born on September 4, 1948 to Evangeline (Dubbeldee) Wyffels and the late Arnold James Wyffels. He graduated from Tracy High School in 1966. Mike and Cindy Rue were married in Loveland, CO in 1972. Together they had three children; Jennifer, Michael Jed and Ramsie. Mike worked in various construction businesses over the years and enjoyed helping with the cattle until he retired in northern MN.

Mike is survived by his children, Jennifer (Jason) Bergman; grandchildren, Bryn and Fisher of Bellingham, WA, Michael Jed (Sashimi) Wyffels of Ft. Collins, CO, and Ramsie Rue of Victor, ID; mother, Vangie Wyffels of Marshall; brothers and sisters, Lee (Renee) Wyffels of Troy, MO, Rose (Mike) Slack of Ada, MI, Robbie (Jesse) Eichenbaum of Matthews, NC, Becky (Lamont Peterson) VanVickle of Pine River, John Wyffels of Palmer Lake, CO, Bill (Bianca) Wyffels of Pillager, Jane (Scott) Mellenthin of Marshall, and Peter (Sherry) Wyffels of Litchfield; many nieces and nephews, family, friends, and his special canine friend, Tye. He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick; father, Arnold; grandparents, August and Ann (Rykus) Wyffels and Herman and Ann (Dressen) Dubbeldee; and a nephew, Blake Wyffels.

Mike will be missed by all. Blessed be his memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes
