Maynard Halvorson

Maynard Halvorson, age 87, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on September 21, 2023. He was born to Erwin and Amanda Halvorson on December 27, 1935, in Pelican Township, MN. 

Maynard was a well-traveled person and explored all 50 states. He made friends wherever he went. Maynard joined the Army Reserves where he cooked for all the men that served with him. He was married 3 times. 

Maynard is survived by his 2 sons, Robert Halvorson, Scott Huesman and daughter, Crystal Ness. Maynard has 6 beautiful grandchildren.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, October 14, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Luncheon/celebration of life will be at the Pine River Legion from 12:30-3. Private burial will be at a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
