Maxine Israelson

Maxine Israelson, age 92, of Pine River, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Good Samaritan Center, Pine River. She was born to Frank and Mary Mudick on March 29, 1920, in rural Backus and was a lifelong resident of the Pine River area. She loved dancing, baking, canning and going out for coffee and lunch.

Maxine is survived by her children: JoAnn Ramig, Ginger Newton (Bob), Florence Wenner (Don), Carol Hagerty (Jack), James Israelson (Loria), Marlene Plaisance, Melvin Israelson, Marjorie Young, Mary Ann Haas; sisters: Stella Kuschel, Anne Rohlf, Susan Daubs; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; sons, Robert and Marvin; daughters, Hazel and Darlene; brothers: Ben, Joe, Fred, Albert, John, Henry; and sisters, Francis Boquist and Lois Johnson.

Services will be 11AM on Saturday, October 6, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, rural Backus.
