Maxine Bailey, 90, of Wadena, MN died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena. Graveside services for Maxine will be held at a later date this fall at Landstad Lutheran Cemetery in Shevlin, MN.
Maxine was born at home on January 7, 1925 in rural Sebeka, MN to George and Nora (Miller) Eitel. She was united in marriage to Warren Bailey. Maxine worked at Allis Chalmers and later at Miller Davis Printing in Minneapolis for a number of years until her retirement in 1988. She and Warren moved to Malmo after retirement. Maxine later moved to Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena after a brief stay in the Aitkin nursing home.
Maxine is survived by her niece, Barb Lehmkuhl of Browerville; nephew, Brad (Colleen) Lehmkuhl of Sebeka; grand nephew, Travis (Trish) Lehmkuhl of Eagle Bend; great grand nephews, Mark Lehmkuhl of Alaska, Tanner Lehmkuhl and Jacob Peterson, both of Eagle Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nora; husband, Warren; brother, Wally Eitel; sister, Phyllis Lehmkuhl; brother in law, Wilbert Lehmkuhl; sister in law, Lydia Eitel. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
