Matthew Homin

Matthew K. Holmin, 17, of Baxter, died at his home Sunday, May 18, 2008. Funeral Services for Matthew will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Friends are welcome to visit Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Interment will follow services on Thursday at the Baxter City Cemetery.
Matthew was born March 22, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV, the son of Robert Holmin, Jr. and Trinia (Maestas) Hastings. The family moved to the Brainerd area in 1992. Matthew grew up and attended school in Brainerd; he currently was in eleventh grade.

Matthew will be missed by his mother, Trina (Tim) Hastings, of Baxter; his father Robert (Sarah Larson) Holmin, of Brainerd; his brothers, Aaron, Isaac, Garrett, Solomon, Hunter, Luke, and Dalton; and his grandparents, Donna Womack, Lou Maestas, Robert and Joann Holmin, Ronald and Rebecca Hastings, and Gail Gotze.
