Matthew Beebe

Matthew Beebe, 58, of Motley, MN was called home by Jesus Monday, November 13, 2017. He went peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Services for Matthew will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Motley Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM, Monday, November 20 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN and one hour prior to services.

Matthew was born February 27, 1959 in Inglewood, California to Clint and Barbara (Pilon) Beebe. He was raised and educated in Norco, CA and graduated from Norco High School in 1977. Matthew worked for Sonny’s Carpets doing Floor Covering. He was united in marriage to Linda Knosalla on May 5, 1984; they lived in Riverside, CA. Matt and Linda moved to Motley, MN in 1993. He worked for Manion Lumber and Truss for 17 years, where he was a foreman and forklift operator, and currently worked for Trident in Motley for the past seven years. Matt enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, playing softball and baseball, and coaching Chad’s baseball team. He had a passion for music and kids. Matthew volunteered with the kids program at church. His faith was very important to him, but most important to him was his family; especially his grandbabies.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Jessica (David) Lindblom of Detroit Lakes, MN, Madeline (Chris) Besett of Brainerd, MN, Chadron Beebe of Motley, MN; four grandchildren, Cohen and Brielle Lindblom and Arianna and Ashton Besett; father, Clint Beebe of Corona, CA; siblings, Susan Beebe of Phoenix, AZ, Lori (Clay) Becerra of Roseville, CA, Lucy Beebe of San Antonio, TX, Donnie Beebe of Nuevo, CA, Cynthia Beebe of Carson City, NV, Rick (Joan) Beebe of Browns Summit, NC, Mark (Anna) Beebe of North Las Vegas, NV, Barbara Neale of Roseville, CA, Pam Beebe of Roosevelt, UT, Annie (Wayne) Leicht of Corona, CA, Mary Beebe of Orange, CA, James Beebe of San Antonio, TX; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; brothers, John and Robert; sister, Chris McGeath. Services have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
