MaryAnn was born to Charles and Clara Otremba on March 5, 1923 in Harding, MN. She grew up on the family farm. She went to school in Little Falls and later to beauty school in Saint Cloud. She moved to Highland Park, IL, where she owned a beauty shop. She met the love of her life, Hilmer (Red) Schweigert, at a USO dance in Highland Park. They married July 1, 1947. They moved to Lincoln, MN in 1952. To this union came 5 children.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, little brother, Ralph, grandparents, granddaughter, 2 sisters, several nieces, aunts and uncles. She is survived by daughters Kathy (Rich) Braun and Mary (Ken) Dukowitz, and sons Charlie (Brandy), David, and Francis (Jeanne).
She was a very active life-long member of St. Michael's Church in Motley, MN. She lead the rosary before mass for many years. She was a member of St. Monica's and St. Ann's.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 2pm at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior at the church. Burial will be at the Motley Public Cemetery.
