MaryAnn Zetah, 83 year old resident of Motley, MN passed away November 21, 2017 at the Harmony House in Motley, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Motley, MN with Father Joe Korf officiating on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00PM with visitation beginning at 11:00AM at the church.

She was born on September 15, 1934 in South Dakota to Werner and Margaret (Kraft) Konen. She married Francis Zetah on November 14, 1955. Francis and Mary Ann farmed their entire lives near Motley. They built a 20 unit apartment building in Motley for Senior Citizens in 1979. She was active in politics, enjoyed cooking, selling sweet corn, playing cards, dancing in her younger years. She will be known for her delicious potato salad.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Kenneth (Connie) of Motley, Diane (Russell) Anderson of Maple Wood, Janet Eischeid, Motley, Debra (Duane) Bender of Cambridge, Linda (Alan) Card of Motley, and Patricia (Michael) Simonet of Brooklyn Park; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Rosemarie Zetah of Motley, Jim Konen (Villa) of Mora, Ray Konen of Arizona, Werner Konen (Judy) of Arizona, Betty Weidendorf of Sauk Centre, Jerry Konen (Lee) of Hutchinson, Margaret Doll (Ed) of Golden Valley, Frank Konen (Julie) of Hutchinson, LeRoy Konen (Cindy) of Anoka Evelyn Blaine (Jerry) of Virginia Beach. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother-in-law and two sister in-laws and son-in-law John Eischeid. Memorials are preferred to Harmony House in Motley, MN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
