Mary Pfeiffer

Mary Ann Pfeiffer, age 79, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Guardian Angel Care Center in Elk River, MN. She was born to Loy T. and Lillian (Lund) Pfeiffer on August 24, 1936, in Albert Lea, MN. Mary was a longtime resident of Pequot Lakes. She graduated from Pequot Lakes High School in 1954 and went on to obtain her Pharmacy degree from NDSU. Mary owned and operated Pfeiffer Pharmacy in Pequot Lakes and Pfeiffer Drug in Pine River for many years. She was a former Pequot Lakes City Council member and Sibley Township board member. She loved her dogs and enjoyed raising sheep, gardening, drawing, and snowmobiling.

Mary is survived by her sister, Kathleen Harter of Lakeville, MN; nieces and nephews: Daniel Berg, Douglas Berg (Chelly), David Berg (Elizabeth), Peter Berg (Julie), Paul Berg (Jason), Les Harter (Kelly), Nancy Harter Martin (Corey), Timothy Hojem and Jolene Hojem Lukanen (Eric).

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnn & David Hojem, Lois & Henry Berg, and Philip Harter.

Services will be 1 PM on Wednesday, June 8, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Our Savior's Cemetery, Pequot Lakes.
