Mary Petree

Mary was born on September 21,1944 in Hennepin County. She passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours at her home on July 8th, 2020. She was 74 years old.

Mary was proceeded in death by her mother Mae Emma Nielson, her father, Ernest Peter Nielson, and her siblings Howard, Dewayne, Sonny, Anna Mae and Barbara.

Mary will reunite with her loving husband Harland as well as her two best friends Margaret and Elaine and her son in law Tim.

Mary is survived by her daughter Dawn, and her three granddaughters Cynthia, Corissa and Charlene, best known as Charlie.

Mary also had 3 Great Granddaughters, Paige, Maddison and Zoey. All of the girls affectionately referred to Mary as “GG”

Mary is also survived by her favorite 4-legged friend, and partner in crime Pandora. Mary would be happy to know that Pandora will live out the rest of her life with the girls and will still have a special place with the family.

Mary also had a lot of extended “family” She had been “adopted” by many kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. She had a huge heart that was full of love for everyone.

The service will be held at Brenny Funeral Home in Baxter, MN.

Visiting, Small talk, and the sharing of memories will begin at 9:30 AM with the service to follow.

If you are unable to make the service, there will be a virtual service as well.
