Mary Moran

Mary Betty Moran, age 84, of Longville, MN died Thursday, July 18 at Woodhaven Senior Community at the Brainerd Regional Human Services Center. Graveside services will be held on September 16, 2001 at the Eden Prairie Cemetery in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Mary Betty Moran was born on February 11, 1917 in Columbia, MO daughter of Albert and Elsie Walters. She grew up and graduated high school in Missouri. Following high school she attended beauty school in Missouri. She was united in marriage to Red Puyear. They moved to Minnesota in 1947 and settled in the Longville area. Red passed away in 1948. She was united in marriage to James Elmer Moran on January 31, 1981 in Longville. Mary was a beautician in Longville and owned her own shop. Mary moved to Woodhaven in 1993 and has been a resident there until her death. Elmer passed away on October 20, 2000.

Mary is survived by children William Puyear of Florida; James (Betty) Moran of Eden Prairie, MN; Beulah (Gordon) Englund of Eau Claire, WI; Arlene Brown of Eden Prairie, MN; Judy (Gary) Ginder of Longville; Sandra (Samuel) Mason of Eden Prairie; sisters Shirley (Martin) Lorts of St. Louis, MO; and Norma, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husbands Red and James along with her parents and a brother Al Walters preceded her in death.
