Mary Hinch

Mary Hinch, 67, of Pillager died on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples, MN. Visitation for Mary will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN from 2:00-5:00PM with a service beginning at 4:00PM. Pastor Hector Merced will be officiating.

Mary was born on July 12, 1946 in Brainerd, MN to Frank and Daisy (Doust) Holmes. Her father died when she was very young, and was raised by Bud and Daisy Storry.
She married Craig Hinch on July 11, 1964 in Brainerd. Mary was a retired Daycare Provider, President of the Daycare Association for Crow Wing County, and a foster parent for more than 20 years. She enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was known to be a very loving, caring and generous person to all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her husband, Craig; children, Christine (Kim) Sherseth of Baxter, MN, Debra (Mick) Karasch of Sauk Centre MN, Joseph (Tammy) Hinch of Brainerd, MN, and Kari (Jeff) Hummel of Pillager, MN; grandchildren, Brandon, Megan, Amanda, Josh, Matt, Tristin, Dawson, Nick, Nicole, and Justin; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank Holmes, Robert Storry; and sister, Rhona Cahoon. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank; parents, Bud and Daisy Storry; grandchild, Jacob Hinch; great grandchild, Blaire Hafften; and sister, Betty Sue Mrozek.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
