Mary Hartman

Mary "Mert" Hartman, 78, formerly of Staples, died Sunday, November 8, 2015 at St. Benedict's Nursing Home in St. Cloud, MN. A Memorial Service for Mary will be 11:00AM, Monday, November 16, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples, MN. Family and friends are invite to gather for visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Mary was born June 16, 1937 in Brainerd, MN to John and Mary Hartman. She was raised and graduated from Staples High School. Mary worked at the US Mint in Minneapolis for a number of years and took the train back and forth, she also worked at the public school and at Sacred Heart School, and volunteered at the Public Library and Sacred Heart School following her retirement. Mary lived in the High Rise in Staples for a number of years. She loved cats.

Mary is survived by her brother, Paul (Jeanette) Hartman of Minneapolis, MN; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Hartman; and brother, Joseph Hartman. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
