Mary Geiger

April 24, 1951 — September 28, 2018

Mary Ann “Bunny” Geiger (Thomson) passed away silently in her sleep Friday, September 28, 2018. She was 67. Bunny was a ray of light to both those who knew her or passed her in a crowd.

Bunny was born to David and Margret Thomson in 1951. She was raised in Edina, MN with her brother, David, and later her step-father, Orem Robbins, joined the family. She graduated EHS class of 1969. Bunny attended Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas but graduated from the U of M in 1973. She flew with Northwest Orient Airlines as a flight attendant when she met her husband, Paul A. Geiger and his daughter Becky; they married in 1975. Their family grew to expand with two sons, David and Paul. They continued to live in Edina with many visits to the Brainerd Lakes area where she and her family retired to in 1998. Bunny remained active in the Crosslake Historical Society and on the Timothy Township board. These were the foundation blocks of her life that in-between were filled with laughter, mischief and fun stories that have already passed into legend.

Bunny was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, daughter, sister, auntie and grandma bun-bun. She leaves behind her friends and family with love and rejoins those whom have gone before.

A celebration of her well-lived life will be held Friday, October 12 at Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake, MN. Visitation will start at 12 pm with service at 1 pm.
