Mary Dahms

Mary Lou Dahms, 89, of Coon Rapids, MN passed away peacefully in her sleep at the home of Steve and Margaret in Crosslake, MN on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Services for Mary will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00AM at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel with visitation beginning at 9:30AM at the chapel. Interment will be at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery.

Mary was born on March 13, 1929 in St. Cloud, MN to Albert and Jane (Brown) May. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School. Mary was married to Bob Dahms in 1949. She was a secretary with the Elk River School District for 30 years. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and seeing her great-granddaughter as much as possible. Mary loved watching and talking about sports, especially the University of Minnesota basketball and football teams.

Mary is survived by her sons, Jeff (Marcia) and Steve (Margaret); grandchildren, Matt (Ashley), Chris (Alyssa), Jason; and great-granddaughter, Bennett. She was preceded in death by husband, Bob; and granddaughter, Lexi. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to RettSyndrome.org or MDA.org. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
