Mary Blexrud

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Blexrud announces her unexpected passing on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the age of 67 years. Mary was born in Minneapolis on November 9, 1951 to Donald and Helen Gaudette. She graduated from Golden Valley High School in 1969.

Mary had recently retired to spend more time with her family. She and Terry shared a love for gardening and maintained the flowers for a local golf course. She enjoyed working on puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Terry; and their children, Christopher (Shayna) Blexrud, of Cape Coral, FL and Lisa (Dan) Lundberg, of Brainerd, MN. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Ryan and Ashley Blexrud and Oliver and Evin Lundberg; siblings, Peter Gaudette, John Gaudette, Ruth Sleavin and Steven Gaudette; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service in memory of Mary will be held on Thursday, December 20th at the Brenny Funeral Chapel, 7348 Excelsior Rd in Baxter, MN. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. and the memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. A gathering to celebrate her life will follow at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Hagen will officiate.
