Marvin Witt

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Marvin Witt, passed away in his sleep on August 10, 2012. He was born to Ludwig and Emma Witt on May 17, 1934. Marvin served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a lifelong resident of Pine River, where he was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorraine; children: Gary Matros, Darlene Norman (Dan), Julie Cline (Jay), Donna Crimmins, Josie Mick (Steven), Marie Taylor (Dean), Penny Sawyer (Troy), Allen Witt (Julie), Larry Witt (Renee); 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; brother, Leo Witt; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy; granddaughter, Kody; sister, Katherine; and brothers, Jim and Don.

Services will be 11 AM on Tuesday, August 14, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
