Marvin James

Marvin "Mike" G. James, 77, of Brainerd, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his home. A memorial gathering will be held from 1-3 PM, Tuesday, January 28 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.

Marvin was born January 6, 1937, in Little Falls, the son of Cliffton and Elizabeth (Hebler) James. Marvin worked on the Iron Ore Boats on the Great Lakes and Larson Boat Works in Little Falls. He also was employed by Pine Grove Park in Little Falls and operated his own Hobby Farm. He loved to go auctions. He will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Terry (Behrens); daughter, Tina Annable, of Brainerd; son, Stacy (wife, Carol) James, of Motley and Randy James of Pequot Lakes; grandsons, Austin, Harlee and Devin; and granddaughter, Chelsey. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; parents; brother, Lloyd; and sister, Mary Ann James.
