Marvin Gravdahl

Marvin O. Gravdahl, age 81, of Warren, Michigan, formerly of Pequot Lakes, died Wednesday June 3, 2007 at Warren, Michigan. Services will be Friday, June 22, 2007 at 10 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes with Reverend David Stevens officiating. There will be a visitation Thursday evening from 6-7 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes and also one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Interment to follow services at Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery.
Marvin is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother; Andrew Gravdahl, 1 sister; Selma (Sally) Stricker.

Marvin was born on November 24, 1925 in Pequot Lakes, son of the late; Albert and Stefine (Ulteng) Gravdahl. He graduated from Pequot Lakes High School. He enlisted in the US Marine Corp during WW II. Following his honorable discharge he farmed a short while with his family near Pequot Lakes. He then moved to Warren, Michigan and worked for the auto industry retiring from Chrysler. He enjoyed horse racing, dog racing, baseball and football.
