Marvin Fox

Marvin L. Fox, age 76, of Randall, passed away Sunday at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 19, at the Randall Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. Friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday at the Randall Funeral Home and for one hour prior to Services on Friday.
Marvin was born on March 18, 1930, in Cushing, MN, the son of John and Nellie (Larson) Fox. He grew up and attended school in Randall. After his schooling he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Returning from the service he moved to California for 7 years, working in construction. In 1967 he returned to Minneapolis and worked in commercial construction. After retiring he moved to the Randall area on Enchanted Lakes. Among the things he enjoyed were teaching his family to fish, hunting, outdoor sports, and gambling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie; brothers, Harold and Ed; and sister, Dorothy. Marvin is mourned in passing by his children, Douglas Fox of Cambridge, MN, Thomas (Barb) Fox of St. Cloud, and Joni Fox of Maple Grove, MN; the mother of his children, Gloria Fox of Brooklyn Center; grandchildren, Tami, Trisha (John), Krystal, and Candice; great grandchildren, Isabel, Megan, and Emma; brother, Herb Fox of Staples; and 2 sisters, Evelyn Hansel of Chico, CA, and Audrey Fox of Little Falls.
