Marvin Armstrong, Jr.

Marvin Armstrong, Jr., age 67, of Pine River, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011. He was born March 25, 1944, in Blue Earth, MN, to Marvin and Doris Armstrong. Marvin married Louise Carlson on May 12, 1965, in Pequot Lakes. He was employed at the Good Samaritan Society in Pine River for many years. Marvin loved fishing, riding his scooter and his dog, Brandy.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Louise; children: Janice Hopkins (Jim) of Backus, Lora Armstrong (Shane Orth) of Backus, Brian Armstrong of Pine River, Patrick Armstrong (Cari) of Milaca; brother, John Armstrong (Linda) of Breezy Point; sister, Sandra Franzen (David) of Pequot Lakes; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Services will be 2 PM, Friday, November 25, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
