Martha Hovseth

Martha Antoinette Hovseth passed away at the age of 97, at her home in Pine River on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. She was born December 26, 1910 in Sherrard, West Virginia, to Arthur and Florence Dally.
Martha married Percy Hovseth in November of 1940. They owned and operated the Ozonite on Gull Lake Resort for 23 years, and later owned a small resort on Whitefish Lake. After retiring in 1975, they purchased a home overlooking Norway Brook.
Martha enjoyed wildlife, working in her flower gardens, and most of all, her black cat "Baby".
She is survived by her nephew, Rudy Hovseth (Barbara) of Cottage Grove, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, February 9, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
