Marlys Beard

Marlys V.Beard 81 of Brainerd died May 31,2012 peacefully at her home with family at her side. She was born November 3, 1930 to Chris and Velma (Rindahl) Tuil. Graduated from Brainerd High School.
Married Donald E. Beard of Syracuse, New York on July 25, 1953 at the family farm in Brainerd.
She is survived by her daughters Cheryl of Pillager,Mn., Lynda of Brainerd, Mn. and Sandra (Nha) Truong and grandchildren Andrew and Michele of Irvine, California., Brother Ronald (Alice) Tuil of Baxter, Mn., and along with many Brother-in-Laws and Sister-in-Laws, Nieces, Nephews, Friends and her faithful companion Dolly.
She worked in food service for the school district for 25 years. Upon her retirement she enjoyed traveling,spending time with family and friends and her grandchildren. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, helped out with Dorcus, and was a member of the American Legion.
She was proceded in death by her parents, sisters; Betty Tuil and Lois E. (Tuil) Nystrom and her husband Donald E. Beard.
A memorial service will be held on June 5,2010 at 10 am at Trinity Lutheran Church with a fellowship after at the church.
