Marlin D. Schulz, of Pillager, MN, died Wednesday, October 17, 2014 at his home. Known to all his friends as "Schulz". Born in Nebraska, he lived in both Texas and Arizona before moving to Minnesota where he built his own home. He worked construction his whole life and was proud to be a finish carpenter, completing hutches, cedar chests, tables and more for his own house and others. He loved living on the Crow Wing River and the seclusion of the countryside.
Schulz will be missed by his wife of 30 years, Kathleen; children; Brenda Racionzer (Bernie Doucette) of Fort Ripley, Jennifer Schulz, mother, Phyllis Kniss, brother, Ron (Suzanne) Schulz, sister-in-law, Suzy Schulz, nieces and nephews, all of the Springfield, MO area and aunts, uncle and cousins in Nebraska and Iowa. He loved his pets who will also miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and his loving brother, Les.
There will be a private memorial service.
