Marlene Scepurek

Marlene “Molly” A. Scepurek, 81, of Little Falls, MN died at her home on Sunday, November 12, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:00AM at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN with Father Jimmy Joseph officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Randall, MN.

Marlene was born on May 8, 1936 in Little Falls, MN to John and Clara (Krottoshinski) Ligman. She was united into marriage to Mark Scepurek on July 20, 1953 in St. Adelbert’s Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. She worked at Munsingwear and was a school bus driver and realtor. Molly also was a taxidermist. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bird watching.

Marlene is survived by her sons, John (Kathy) Scepurek of Jacksonville, NC, and Dan (Patti) Scepurek of Little Falls, MN; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Hamilton and Rita Skipper; and one brother, George Ligman. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara; husband, Mark; infant son, Richard; infant daughter, Julie Ann; and granddaughter, April. Memorials are preferred. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
