Marlene Magnan

Marlene R. Magnan, age 69, of rural Brainerd died Monday, December 26, 2005 at her home. Services will be private. Memorials may be sent to: 20157 Hwy 371 North, Brainerd, Minnesota 56401.
Marlene was born on September 10, 1936 in Brainerd, daughter of Abe and Gladys (Avery) Gilson. She graduated from Brainerd High School. Marlene was united in marriage to George Magnan on May 29, 1957 at St. Mathias. They farmed in St. Mathias Township with her family. They moved to Unorganized Township where she has been a resident till the time of her death. Marlene worked at Wal-Mart for many years. Marlene, a loving mother and devoted wife, will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Marlene is survived by her husband, George; children, Tim (Monique) Magnan, Brainerd, Kelly (Valerie) Magnan, Crosby, Randy (Kris Anderson) Magnan, Brainerd, Melonie Burgess, Brainerd, Kimmy Kay Fox, Brainerd, Tony Magnan, Brainerd, Troy Magnan, Olathe, Kansas, Bruce Magnan, Little Falls; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers; one sister. Her parents preceded her in death.
