Marlene Fischer

Marlene Fischer (Riesch), age 59, died Oct 6, 2009 just after midnight surrounded by her family. She passed peacefully after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer, with courage, dignity and a smile on her face-Never giving up hope. Preceded in death by parents Warren and Nellie, former husband Michael Chvestuik. Survived by son Michael, grandson Cullen, former husband Mark Fischer, sister Wynnell (Tony) Larson, brother Barry and many friends. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Unity Church Unitarian (732 Holly Ave., St.Paul, enter at the Portland and Grotto entrance) at 1:00pm Saturday Oct 31.
