Marlene Dupree

Marlene A. Dupree, 85, of Nisswa, passed away on February 7, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Marlene was born on August 6, 1935 to Andrew and Singhild Anderson in Minneapolis. She attended school and worked in the Twin Cities area until the mid-90s when she moved to Nisswa.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arnie Anderson and Bruce Benson; daughter, Carrie Fairbanks; son, Pat Fairbanks; great-grandson, Hunter Fairbanks; and special friend, Jerry Gillespie. She is survived by brothers, John Anderson (Gaylene Garcia), of Twin Falls, ID, Henry Benson (Marlene Hennen) of Brooklyn Park, MN; sons, John Fairbanks (Lorey) of Hastings, MN and Michael Fairbanks (Lynn) of Nisswa, MN; grandchildren: Andy Fairbanks (Ingrid), Marlene Backes (Steve), Jennifer Fairbanks, Miranda Medeiros (Kevin), Justin Fairbanks, Kari Fairbanks and Sarah Plantamura (Dominic); great-grandchildren: Emma, Logan, Jocelyn and Lucas.

Private graveside burial will be held at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
