Mark Reierson

Mark Thomas Reierson, 63 of Staples, MN died on Friday, February 28, 2014 at his home. A Memorial Service for Mark will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Staples United Methodist Church in Staples, MN with Pastor Greg Ciesluk officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Mark was born on April 25, 1950 in Bertha, MN to Lloyd and Phyllis (Lerfald) Reierson. Mark graduated from Clarissa High School in 1968 and Dunwoody, and then went on to serve his country in the US Army from 1969-1971. Mark then married Vickie Carrick in Milbank, SD on March 30, 1972. Mark was self-employed for 40 years working in his autobody shop. He enjoyed his time playing with the Eagle Valley Playboys band, deer hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his wife, Vickie; children, Luke (Carrie) of Brainerd, MN, Josh (Kim) of Bertha, MN, Tamar (Trevor Bettis) of Motley, MN; brothers, Barry (Judy) of Frazee, MN, Steven of Staples, MN; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and his faithful friends, Hobie and Izzie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ikey and Glee. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
