Mark Reger

Mark Thomas Reger, age 53, currently residing in Bertha, Minnesota, died peacefully at home on July 18, 2011. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 22 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.

Mark was born September 25, 1957, in Staples, Minnesota to parents Mike and Jan Reger. He attended school in Staples, Minnesota. He worked for Northern Pipeline in Minneapolis for several years and worked in construction and carpentry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Mark also played drums in a band with his brothers.

Mark took particular joy in spending time with his five grandchildren.

Mark was the type of person who loved to make people laugh and always had a good story to tell. He was a great help to many who needed his carpentry talents and left his mark in many places for both family and friends.

Mark is survived by his two daughters, Marcy (Josh) Lester of Garrison, North Dakota; Samantha Lehmkuhl of Sitka, Alaska; father, Mike Reger of Browerville, Minnesota; Siblings, Chip (Sally) Reger of Farmington, Minnesota; Michael (Kim) Reger of Payson, Arizona; Christy (Tony) Tobas of Browerville, Minnesota; Dan (Tammie) Reger of Barnesville, Minnesota; and five grandchildren, Abby Lester, Alex Lester, Mark Lehmkuhl, William Lester, Cody Perala and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Jan Reger.
