Mark Cowart

Mark Anthony Cowart, 65, of Ironton, passed away on February 29, 2024.

Mark was born on August 16, 1958, to Jerry and Loretta (Ceretti) Cowart in Des Moines, Iowa. He married Shari Crees on August 22, 2019, and they own MacDaddy’s Donut Garage.

Mark was the life of the party. He enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley and riding his snowmobile. He worked in sales for 40 years in the automotive industry. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his wife Shari; children, Josh Cowart (Lisa), Amber Miller, Jake Paulus, Zach Paulus, Nick (Jillian) Paulus, and Jess Paulus; grandchildren, Sammy, Louie, Aria, Tyler, Carter, Jack, Kyler, Korbin; father, Jerry (Maria) Cowart; parents-in-law Louis and Martha Crees; and cousin Derald Judson. He is preceded in death by his mother Loretta; and brother Brett Cowart.

Services will be held 1pm-4pm on April 14, 2024 in Des Moines, Iowa. Details will follow.
