Marjorie Sirucek, age 61, of Leader, passed away Wednesday morning at the Lakewood Hospital in Staples. The funeral service is planned for Saturday Oct. 21 at 12:00PM at the Motley Free Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. There will be a time to visit with the family two hours prior to the service at the church. Marjorie was born in Enumclaw, Washington, on February 25, 1945 to Dewey and Florence (Miller) Parrish. While she was young her family moved to Montana. On March 7, 1964 she was married to George Sirucek in Swan River, Montana, and their marriage was blessed with two children. Marjorie enjoyed crafts, dairy cows, collecting rocks, traveling, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also worked for 18 years with the Minnesota Dairy Herd Improvement Association. Marjorie is survived by her husband, George; children, John (Peggy), of Staples and Jimmy (Donnell), of Motley; grandchildren, Emil, Jacob, Rosie, Clayton, and Dallas; mother, Florence Parrish; sisters, Evelyn Bommer, of Hall, MT, and JoJo Brown, of Kalispel, MT; brother Philip Parrish, of Sun Valley, CA; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Dewey Parrish; brother, Raymond; and sisters, Alberta Sagen, Beverly Parrish, and Charlene Benten.
