Marjorie Pearson

Marjorie Ann (Gregerson) Pearson, 77, a resident of Staples Care Center, formerly of Wadena, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, at the Care Center with her family by her side.

Marge was born Feb. 11, 1948, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Andrew and Anna Gregerson. She was an LPN and then a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her two daughters, Candy and Tina. She also did home health care. She met her life partner, Bud Hartshorn, and moved to Wadena in 1986. She was diagnosed with MS in the early 90s and moved to Staples Care Center a few years later where she’s lived since. She called bingo at the Care Center. She loved to do crafts including coloring and sequined calendars. She enjoyed sitting outside and getting tan. She also loved getting her hair done and putting on her lipstick.

Survivors include her daughters, Candy (Ray Large) Pearson and Tina (Bryan) Beck, both of Brainerd; four grandchildren, Brittany (Jagger) Murdock, Staples, Tiffany Schmitz, Trysta (Gaven) Peterson-Roberts and Dawson Beck, all of Brainerd; and six great-grandchildren, Teagen, Caiden, Wynter, Kaisen, Violet and Baylee.

Preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Kathy; her first husband, Donald Pearson; and her life partner, Bud.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
