Marjorie Hughes

Marjorie H. Hughes, 70, of Brainerd, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Good Samaritan Village - Bethany. Private services will be held.

Marjorie was born May 3, 1941, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Webb McKnoll and Lucille (Zimbinski) Connor. Following her education, Marjorie was married to her first husband, Raymond Breen on June 4, 1965. The couple made their home in St. Paul. Following Ray's death, Marjorie married William Hughes on June 12, 1971. The couple moved to Emily where they raised their family. Marjorie enjoyed painting and observing nature.

She will be missed by her children, Lynne (Jeff) Howard, of Brainerd, Terry (Kathryn) Connor, of Omaha, NE, Sandy (Dan) Lingwall, of Brooksville, FL, Gina (Bret) Bosen, of Salt Lake City, UT, and Wes (Elizabeth) Hughes of Baxter; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her spouses, Ray and William; son, William Connor; parents; and grandson, Jaran Connor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
