Marilyn was an active member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Longville and a dedicated volunteer at Tossed&Found. Prior to retiring to her home on Lake Inguadona, Marilyn operated a beauty salon for many years in Rogers, MN. Marilyn loved to travel, particularly with her beloved husband Kurt in their airplane, visiting family or on various adventures with their fellow Longville Fliers. Marilyn enjoyed working in her beautiful gardens and was an avid reader. Marilyn was also quite an accomplished Fisherwoman, whether angling deep sea or on her and Kurt’s annual trips to Canada. She loved to be outdoors and taking long daily walks, and continued to enthusiastically carry on with her daily activities, even through the increasing difficulties brought on by her cancer.
Above all else was Marilyn’s love and care for her family, and she cherished each one of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, as will her determination to make the world a better place for us all.
