Marie Sorenson

Marie Sorenson, age 89, of Brainerd and formerly Pine River, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Essentia St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born in Deer River, MN, to Lee and Lydia (Forster) O'Bryan. Marie lived in Pine River most of her life and was a 40 year member of the Pine River Legion Auxiliary, serving a term as President. She loved her needlepoint and enjoyed gardening.

Marie is survived by her son, Richard; daughter, Phyllis; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; sons, Raymond and Edward; five brothers and two sisters.

Services will be 11 AM on Thursday, April 18, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
