Margret Olson

Margret Elizabeth Olson, 73, of Crosslake passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2009 surrounded by her loving husband and family. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crosslake, MN. Friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at 11:30 AM, Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Park Hill Cemetery in Duluth, MN. Memorials preferred to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church or St. Marys Hospital/Mayo Clinic.
Margret was born July 29, 1936 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Sigrid (Carlson) Honer. She was united in marriage to Allen Olson on October 4, 1958 in Duluth, MN. She worked for over 17 years in Special Education in the Robbinsdale School System. She was a member of the Historical Society of Crosslake and was member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Crosslake.

Margret will be missed by her husband, Allen J.; her children, Debbie (Gary) Patrick, of Albertville, MN, Terri (Brian) Laufers, of Champlin, MN, and Pam (Paul) Fletcher, of Champlin, MN; her sisters, Mary Pfeiffer, of Duluth, MN and Alice (Jack) Frestedt, of Duluth, MN; her sister-in-law, Dody Honer, of Duluth, MN; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Fred.
