Margo (Canham) Danielson, joined our Lord in Heaven on September 27, 2021, with her loving husband, Gary, by her side, at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, Minnesota. She was 78 years old.
She was born on August 4, 1943 in Wahpeton, North Dakota to Elynor Canham. Her mother then moved her to Benson, Minnesota until the age of twelve. The family then moved to North Minneapolis, where she graduated from Patrick Henry Highschool in 1961. She then attended vocational school, where she obtained the skills needed to work in an office. She was hired by a commodities broker, Louis Ritten & Sons, located in the Grain Exchange Building. The job (her first) remained as one of her favorites.
Margo met her future husband, Gary, on a blind date, and they were married a few years later on February 27, 1965. Gary was employed in the airline industry, giving her the opportunity to travel the world. She traveled to places like Upstate New York, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Juneau, Fairbanks, and Skagway Alaska.
She held many different positions and several in management. She worked at the Baranott Hotel, the Juneau Chamber of Commerce, and was later employed by Holland-America-Westeurs in both Juneau and Skagway, Alaska as the assistant manager.
Margo was also the first purser and hired the first crew on Holland-America’s new ship, The MV Fairweather in Skagway. During her last years of employment, she worked in retail at Richter’s Curios, and she loved working with the entire staff at the stores.
She later lived in Fairbanks, where she worked at the Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce. She was also the manager of Radiology Consultants.
When she moved back to Minnesota, she and Gary resided in both Baxter and Pillager.
Margo is preceded in death by her mother, Elynor, sister Sandra, and Aunt Myrle Brunzell.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Gary, and brother Craig(Karen).

Margo was a friend to all, and had a wonderful smile. She never had a bad word about anyone, and was always the eternal optimist. She was always wondering what was around the next bend. She loved living in Skagway, but also wanted to return to Minnesota.
