Margie Bauer

Margie L. Bauer, 103, of Brainerd, died August 01, 2007 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village. Memorial Service will be 11:30 AM, Saturday, August 11, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Margie Leitch was born October 26, 1903 in Underwood, MN to Stafford and Maggie (Rockstad) Leitch. She was united in marriage to Clifford Bauer August 21, 1975. Margie worked as a school teacher for a number of years and was a beautician. She was a county agent in 4-H. She enjoyed world-wide travels and kept in correspondence with the many friends she made during her visits abroad.

She is survived by daughter, Marlene (Don) Hansen, of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Douglas Hansen, of Minneapolis, Jeffrey Hansen, of Minneapolis, Gary Hansen, of Deerwood, and Tim Peterson, of Mineral, VA; great-grandchildren, Michael, Scott and Emily Hansen; brother, Robert Leitch, of Washington; and many nieces, nephews, and friends around the world. Margie was preceded in death by husband, Clifford Bauer; parents, Stafford and Maggie (Rockstad) Leitch; son, Donald; eight siblings; and two grandchildren, James and Thomas Hagen.
