Margaret A. Jorgenson, 98, of Pine River, MN, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2019. She was born on May 8, 1921, in Cumberland, WI, to the late Fred and Olive Schiebel. Margaret married Orlyn Jorgenson and moved from Cumberland, WI, to Brooten, MN, and then to Anoka, MN.
Prior to retirement, Margaret was the head cook for the school lunch program in the Brooten School System and, upon moving to Anoka, became the secretary for the Psychology Department of the Anoka County School District. After her retirement, she and her husband moved to Pine River, MN.
Margaret was an active member of the First Lutheran Church of Pine River and the Eradelphian Club of Pine River.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orlyn (Jorgy) Jorgenson; two brothers, Allen and Richard; and one sister, Dorothy. Survivors include five children: Eugene (Nan) Gunderson of Caldwell, ID, Karen (Al) Bernhardson of Englewood, FL., Gaylon Jorgenson of Mesa, AZ., Beverly (Doug) Nelson of Otsego, MN, and Kathleen (Lalo) Zavala of Sartell, MN; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
