Marcus Zimmer

Marcus Edward "Mark" Zimmer, age 56, of Little Falls, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009. He was born October 17, 1952, in Princeton, to Bernard and Jayne (Goth) Zimmer. He graduated from Spring Lake Park High School. Mark worked at the Pillsbury Flour Mill in Minneapolis and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Independence. He was cared for at the Nouis House in Little Falls for the last seven years.

Mark loved drag racing, motorcycles, snowmobiling, fishing, the Twins and Vikings, and traveling.

He is survived by his mother, Jayne, of Pine River; siblings: Bernie Zimmer, Jr. (Donna) of Georgia, Janet Beckler (Chuck) of Buffalo, Karen Brandt (Don) of Maple Lake, Lisa Baldwin (Robert) of Buffalo; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry, and father, Bernard.

Services will be 10 AM on Wednesday, September 30, at St. Alice Catholic Church, Pequot Lakes, with Father George Zeck officiating. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery, rural Pine River. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
