Marcella (Marcie) Madonna Kelzer, 56, of Randall, MN passed away peacefully at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN after a valiant battle with Scleroderma. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marcie will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00AM with Father Jimmy Joseph officiating at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN. Visitation will be at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 4:00-8:00PM, with prayer service beginning at 7:00PM and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at 2 PM on Friday, July 1.

Marcie was born on October 22, 1959 in Winona, MN to Edward and Evelyn (Schott) Miller. She was raised on a farm and graduated from Lewiston Public High School in 1978. Marcie attended the University of Minnesota in Waseca for child development. Marcie married John Kelzer on June 21, 1980 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waconia, MN. They purchased a farm and moved to Randall, MN in 1981 where the family raised dairy and beef cattle.

Marcie loved the outdoors and enjoyed animals and nature. She loved taking care of the livestock on the farm, raising rabbits, riding the 4-wheeler, ice-skating, swimming, horseback riding, and gardening. She enjoyed traveling, particularly to Itasca State Park and Nebraska. Marcie was extremely creative, and she loved woodworking and making beautiful wall-hangings, Christmas stockings, and other keepsakes with her hands out of cross stitch and needlework. She enjoyed sewing her own clothes and also making doll clothes. Marcie also liked to watch quilting shows and westerns while she sewed. She was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan and watched as many games as possible.

Marcella is survived by her husband, John, of Randall, MN; children, Nicholas (Kate) Kelzer of Meire Grove, MN, Justin Kelzer of Randall, MN, and Jolene (Jake) Rosentreader of Broken Bow, NE; grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Carter, Collin, Jace, Justin, and Barron; siblings, Coralyn "Dolly" Kabes, Lanice "Lannie" (Jim) Pavek, Virginia "Ginny" Miller-Plaza, Stuart Miller, Laurenda "Rendy" Comero, Glenn Miller, Grace (Gary) Rasmussen, and Mary (George) Peichel; mother-in-law, Lorraine Kelzer; and brother and sister-in-laws, Carol Kelzer, Joe (Debbie) Kelzer, Doris Mielke, Paul (Kathy) Kelzer, Jerry (Lora) Kelzer, Donna Herman, and Ron (Julie) Kelzer. She was preceded in death her parents; father-in-law, Stanley Kelzer; sister-in-law, Brenda Kelzer; and brother-in-laws, Richard Kabes and Rodrigo Plaza.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN. Pallbearers include Nicholas Kelzer, Justin Kelzer, Jake Rosentreader, Gary Rasmussen, George Peichel, and Travis Kabes.
