Marcella Jubb

Marcella (Mickey) Jubb, age 95, of Nisswa and formerly Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Lakewood Care Center, Staples. She was born to Nicholas and Ada Degen on February 16, 1923, in Mason City, Iowa.

Mickey was a big hearted, sweet lady who loved to joke around. She loved playing with her grandchildren and was quick with a smile. After retirement, Mickey was an active volunteer. She was extremely proud to be a Foster Grandparent at the Cambridge-Isanti schools. She later moved to Nisswa where she enjoyed going to Breath of Life. Mickey was particularly fond of sweets and enjoyed visiting over coffee and a piece of pie.

Mickey is survived by her son, Carl Jubb; daughter, Rose Town (Jim); grandchildren: Brandon Town (Kristin), Pauline Wangen (Eric), Jami Town (Dave); and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; one brother; and one sister.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Tuesday, October 30, at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, Nisswa. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 31. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
