Marc Harris

Marc Stanley Harris, 52, of Colorado Springs, CO died at his home Monday, June 16, 2008. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00AM, Friday, June 27 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Gabriel Waweru officiating. Friends are welcome to gather Thursday evening from 4 to 7 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Interment will follow services at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd, MN.
Marc was born July 7, 1955, in Brainerd, the son of Stanley Harris and Patricia Rogers. Marc enlisted in the US Army where he served over three years before being honorably discharged and returning to Brainerd. He worked for a number of years in the Food Service Department at the Brainerd State Hospital. In March of 2007, Marc moved to Colorado.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, canoeing and hunting. Most of all, Marc cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Marc will be missed by his daughter, Amanda (Tiffany Pikula) Harris, of Fountain, CO; his granddaughter, Lynae; his stepfather, Don Rogers, of Brainerd; and his four sisters, Pam (Larry) Christensen, of Brainerd, Shireen Harris, of Brainerd, Joy (Larry) Schultz, of Brainerd, and Kristi (Brett) Dutton, of Baxter. Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Rogers and Stanley Harris.
