Madonna Clabots, age 88, of Motley passed away July 5, 2011 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd Minnesota. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July, 9th, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Motley Minnesota.
Madonna was born November 1, 1922 in Wadena Minnesota to Bill and Catherine Kneisl. She married John Booth when she was 18 and worked at the Wadena Hide & Fur.
She later married John Clabots and together they ran the El-Ray Motel in Motley Minnesota for many years. She resided at Harmony House in Brainerd in her later years. Madonna most enjoyed her motel, and being with her family. She was known for being a kind, generous lady with a big heart and was loved by all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Kathy, and grandchildren; Jake, Noah and Libby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clabots, brother; Maurice Kneisl, sister; Hildegard Richter, and parents Bill and Catherine Kneisl.
