Madeline Richards

Madeline Richards, age 93, of Pine River, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born to Lester and Dollie Pollock on December 28, 1927. Madeline married Lester Richards on January 25, 1944. She loved the farm life, flowers and dancing with her husband, Lester.

Madeline is survived by her children: Ronald Richards, Barb Carlson (Ronnie), Ray Richards (Margie), Jerry Richards (Violet), Carol Beavers (Van), Linda Aker, Maggie Richards, Ralph Richards (Lisa), Rodney Richards; 33 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Bud Pollock (Lester) and Barbara Volk. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester; grandchildren, Krista Richards, Rhonda Sorg, baby Carlson; siblings: Ted Pollock, Mary Laird, Bob Pollock; son-in-law, Ken Aker; and daughters-in-law, Peggy Richards and Becky Richards.

The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River, with a special thank you to Gwen Sexton for all the special things she did for Grandma.

Services will be 2 PM on Sunday, December 19, at Lakeside Baptist Church, Backus. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, McKinley Township.
