Lynne Marie Robinson, age 72, of Backus, was born May 21, 1943, in Sioux City, Iowa. Lynne was an active participant in the community. She played the piano and the organ at Mildred Bible Chapel for many years. In addition, she was a leader in the Girl Scouts, Pioneer Girls, Awana Club and a teacher at Vacation Bible School. Lynne was always on the go enjoying many hobbies like gardening, cooking, fishing and reading. An avid sports fan, she supported her children and then her grandchildren by attending most events that they participated in, always there to cheer them on.
After a difficult struggle with early onset Alzheimers, Lynne departed on Friday, February 26, 2016, to reunite with friends and family that preceded her in heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Ella Carley, and brother, Milo Carley. Lynne is survived by her children: Kelly Moser (Travis), Kim Loy, Jin Robinson, Kari Satre (Gayle); grandchildren: Shauna Zaffke, Megan Collier, Douglas Hamilton (Laura), Kayla Hamilton, Krystle Leikvoll (Andrew), Kendra Hamilton; great grandchildren: Branden Divito, Jordan Blankenship, Jacey Blankenship, Kaelynne Venturini, Mallory Jones, Kiante Hamilton, Kieden Hamilton, Cora Hamilton; brothers: Jerry Carley, Robert Carley; and significant other, Alan Sheley.
The family has planned a celebration memorial at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River, Minnesota on Friday, March 11. It will be open house style so please stop by anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 PM.
