Lyle Gaines

Lyle Maynard Gaines, 75, of Baxter, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025.

Lyle was born on May 5, 1949, to Maynard Gaines and Virginia (Olson) Busch in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lyle and Beverly spent the first part of their marriage in Minneapolis. Due to their love of northern Minnesota, they moved to Outing, MN, and became owners of Roosevelt Lake Service, Inc. Later, he retired and moved to Baxter.

Lyle was survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly; children, Christopher and Andrea; grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth; sibling, Steve Eliason; and grandpaw to Walker and Dahlia, along with many friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and nephew.

A private family celebration of life will be planned later.
