Lydia Goodwater

Lydia "Sis" A. Goodwater, 91, of Motley, MN died at Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples, MN on Sunday, August 26, 2018. The service for Sis will be held at 11 AM, Friday, August 31st at St. John's Lutheran Church in Motley, with Reverend Paul Koehler officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Morningside Memorial Garden in Coon Rapids.

Sis was united in marriage with Clifford Goodwater on September 8th, 2001. They made their home in Motley. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Motley and the Motley Lions. She enjoyed traveling, reading and being with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Otto and Wilhelmina Pribbenow; brothers: John, Art, William, Willis and David Pribbenow; sisters: Sophia Schwitalla, Mable Thorn and Dorothy Beeson; granddaughter: Desiree; stepdaughter: Lynn Johnson. She is survived by her husband: Clifford Goodwater; daughter: Nan (Keith) Miller of Moab, UT; stepson; Rick Goodwater; stepdaughter: Kathy Johnson; sister: Florence Berndt of Motley; sister-in-law: Ione and Charles; grandchildren: Marilyn, Elizabeth, Katherine & Brian; great grandchildren; great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
