Luella Jane Waller, 80,
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor; she will be deeply missed by all she touched in her life.
She passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2013 at St. Otto's Nursing Home in Little Falls. Funeral Services will be at 10:30am on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church of Bulldog Lake, Hillman with Father Ryan Moravitz officiating. Visitation will be at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 5-7pm. Interment will be at Pine Tree Cemetery in Hillman, MN.
Luella was born on April 26, 1932 in Buckman to Alex and Hildegarde Boser. In 1955 she married Wayland Jean Waller. Together they farmed the Ardyth Farm in Richardson Township and raised their family. She loved watching and feeding birds, growing flowers and vegetables and sharing produce from her garden with anyone who came to her farm. She enjoyed playing cards, quilting, reading and cooking for family and friends. No one dared leave her home hungry. Luella was a member of Club of the Pines, Pine Tree Cemetery Board, and St. Elizabeth's Council. She volunteered in many neighborhood activities and always helped others.
She is survived by her children Jane and Mike Vogt of Pillager, Keith and Sandra Waller of Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada, Judy and Bill Johnson of Cushing, Jill and Keith Bremel of Hillman and Joan and Bruce McNamara of Maple Grove, grandchildren; Kyle, Nick, Cassie, Katie, Kelly, Sabrina, Simone and Billy, great-grandchildren; Hunter and Gunner and brothers Harvey and Cleo Virnig. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister. Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter, MN.
